We flew into Portland-we could see these beautiful ridges of mountains,
then two huge mountains,
a gorgeous sunset,
and Portland. It was so hot and humid when we landed at 7:30 pm. We then had a very long night drive east to the Wallowa Mountains across northern Oregon. There was a gorgeous half moon Erica said looked like a lemon slice, part of the Columbia River was so still we could see the mountains reflected in the moon light, we stopped at Safeway in Hood, about 4 am we made it to where Erik grew up and snoozed until 6:30 am where we were welcomed with huge hugs and loads of excitement.
