Running Man

This is Erik's dad, Fred, doing the Timberline Marathon at Mt. Hood, Oregon. He's 60! It's got to be that great German engineering.

Celebrating 12 Years in Hawaii

Eating at Chili's.
Erica says she is a moose.

On Thursday we celebrated being in Hawaii for 12 years. Wow, time flies.
Erik ran a very hilly 25K (15.5 miles) on Saturday in 2:00:50 (he said he would have broken 2 hours had he not had to stop and tie his shoe). He came in 35th out of 523. Woo woo.

Evan's Birthday

Erik is home safe and sound so I have my computer back. It is so awesome having him home! He came back with loads of treats, cool shirts and tons of love.

For Evan's birthday we went to Chuck E. Cheese for pizza and play games. The boys had a blast playing the basketball shoot game because it was stuck so they played about 10 times in a row on one token. Now that Erik is back we are going for Evan's birthday dinner.

Erik Update

Erik is having fun in Boston today and will get to play in New York City this weekend. He is being extended in Groton another week. Boo hoo for us but good fun for him. He'll miss Evan's birthday-day but we'll celebrate all day next Saturday.

Saturday

Two more pictures. The top one is of the kids at art class. The bottom is our little Hawaiian fireplace.
Just wanted to let everyone know that Erik will be in Groton Monday through Saturday. You can call him on his work phone.

Hello to our family!

Today was Erica's birthday. Erik took off work and she got to pick her day. It started with a big hike, followed by Chuck E Cheese for games and then a stop by the mall and ended with dinner, marshmellows and cake by the fire. She is holding one of the webkinz she got for her birthday.
