Fred picked Erik up in
Las Vegas, drove most of the night back to St. George, Utah which would be home for a week,
here's Marsha waiting at the cool mobile digs,
this is some gorgeous country,
be forewarned...you'll be seeing a lot of rocks in the next few posts,
Erik loved all the banners and welcoming signs all throughout the area.
The first leg of the race is in the
reservoir. Water temp...56 degrees.
Erik is eager to go...giving the swim a try...not too bad when you're the only one there and can get out when you get cold.
a last little stretch,
and he's off,
where'd he go?
Okay, Fred's
lookin' mean, lean, and like a tough muscle machine...he's just giving Erik a bit of a head start...
lookin' tough as nails-the water isn't intimidated though-better get a move on,
or maybe not...
just wait until we go running Erik...
couldn't let Erik get the best of him on this one...no
wimpy suit with sleeves for Fred,
but still...it's really cold standing here, can't we contemplate this back in the truck...
Flowers for me!
