These rugs were awesome. One very quickly looses track of reality on the ship. It was so fun to check the elevator first thing in the morning to find out what day it was.
The kids spent the whole day in the pool. The kids loved it because the pool had waves with the rocking of the ship plus there was hardly anybody in it. This is on deck 11, the Lido deck. Fore is the spa and aft is the buffet where we always ate breakfast, lunch, and occasionally dinner.
There weren't many kids the ship. The ones there got to know each other pretty quick. Owen loved playing chess with Adam who is from Hungry. Owen just said, "the saddest thing about the cruise is missing my friends." After dinner every night they would go to Club Hal, the kids center. It was small with a leader, scheduled activities and the same kids would hang out until it closed at 10:30 pm every night.
Out the window is a good glimpse of the scenery-low flat islands covered into trees. We have entered the "Inside Passage" where we are cruising in and among all the islands of southern Alaska.
