A Real Hawaiian Luau

There is a Hawaiian tradition to have a luau for a baby's first birthday as a celebration of life (the equivalent of a wedding as far as preparation, expense, celebration, and number of guests-over 200). I have the privilege of having the best Hawaiian neighbors so I got to watch some of the luau preparations as well as enjoy the feast. Most locals hire caters and serve cheaper and easier to cook food (Chinese) but our neighbors prepared all traditional Hawaiian food themselves with an army of friends and family helping. I honestly don't think it could be done any other way because it is a tremendous amount of work.
Here a 100 pound pig cooks in the imu-a hole in the ground covered by rocks.
Washing 80 pounds of taro leaves (in preparation to be eaten),
Chopping 20-25 lbs each of tomatoes, onions...and other things...squid, chicken...
Cooking and Evan petting their big, very aggressive, black, guard dog Nalu (Evan and Nalu are buddies now, they spent a day bonding because Evan is a worrier and Nalu had been alone all night),
Noa cooking the chicken,
preparing the squid, chicken, and various other things...
cooking poi,
Liko cooking the kailua pork,
Aloha and the birthday girl,
the details for the party were amazing, on the plate: mochi and haupia, in the cup: green M&Ms and cup cakes on a stick, on the table: Hawaiian key lime cookies (to die for), super sweet pineapple, pink carnation cup cake center pieces, crayon pouches and note pads for the kids to keep them occupied. There were also guys who made the kids amazing balloon...animals, etc.
upper left to right: taro leaves cooked in coconut milk with squid (squid luau), sliced taro, lomi lomi salmon
bottom left to right: chicken with rice noodles, sticky rice, kailua pork
left to right: something like the inside of a barnacle, poke, and squid-all raw. I forgot to get pictures of the pou pous: edamame (boiled soy beans in the pods), boiled peanuts, and these most delicious little barbecued but almost like jerky pieces of pork (I am sure it has a name).
Aloha, I need you to help me out with the names of the food.
Happy girl at the end of the night. Everyday for the whole week after she kept asking to go back to Kena's party.
