Awesome sign on base. So far the ACLU has left the military alone-it's the one place God still lives in America.
Evan showing off this horrible rash he has.
More rash.
We decided to just hang at the beach because Bellows won't allow the kayaks to leave.
The boys catching some waves. Evan rode waves the entire day.
Erica took over someone else's sand castle.
Fun!
I couldn't pass up riding the waves on such a gorgeous day.
Owen and I rode a few together.
Time to get Erica out there...here comes one...
The islands we were hoping to kayak to.
Gorgeous beach...
Ha-I guess there are more important things than beautiful scenery...especially when you get to see it everyday.
We then headed to the south eastern most spot called Portlock to see the spitting cave. On our way down we saw this HUGE turtle. It was gigantic. I tried to zoom in so it's pretty blurry. When we got down there the turtle was gone.
Diamond Head in the afternoon.
Center left is the spitting cave. The water rushes in then blows out with a loud noise making the ground tremble and creating a beautiful mist rainbow. This area is actually very un-nerving, especially with kids. You can walk around and out to the area across from where we are standing. There is a guy out there fishing and a ladder leading up from the water. Locals like to come and leap off the 65' cliff.
