Super epic hike but don't listen to the hype. It is isn't dangerous at all. I was really let down, felt like I was cheated!! There is 3 miles to the start of the hike on a road, 2 miles up, 2 miles back down and 3 back to the car. We did it in 6 hours hike time. It's not hard, just don't miss the turn off. I know there are a lot of the same shot but it was with changing light.
