First Week of August

We saw this gorgeous rainbow on the way over to Evan's tae kwan do. The one end was over Diamond Head-it was so beautiful.

On the way home we saw this gorgeous sunset-it looks like the mountains are volcanic.

Owen's birthday day! Erik has 15 Rubik's cubes-one is a calender he solves every day.

After art, Owen picked Zippy's for breakfast,

then we went to Home Depot for the kid's workshop, hanging out,

next stop...mini-golf,

off to the pool,

Erica fell asleep just inside the door-Evan didn't have anywhere to set his food so he set it on Erica...

then Erik decided to torture her while she napped. Later she did the funniest thing-she jumps up and says, "okay, I'm ready to go outside now." It was so unexpected, she could have been doing anything.

Sunday we got up and went to Kaneohe Marine Corps Base-I always love being great on base by this old sign.

The kids spent the day fishing.

They had so much fun,

we couldn't get them to leave,

Evan caught a crab,

then a real fish! We were so surprised,

such gorgeous scenery to look at all day,

the kids were the last ones left fishing-this pier was packed earlier.

Leaving we saw this gorgeous bird-we've never seen one like it before.
