Hawaii is so Fun

We have palm tree scorpions which Erik caught among our shoes,
Waialua Sugar Mill, the last sugar plantation on Oahu, closed in 1996. The workers camp was still inhabited by former Filipino laborers until 2000.
east meets west,

giant (sugar) cane spiders
giant snails (Erica thought it was a slug with a wing)
crazy mascots,
AFC practicing,

the Ravens' Ray Lewis,

really? this was a private practice for military families...the group least likely to need armed police to keep crowd control or from harming the field and players,
NFC practicing, that field cam is huge,
silent drill team,

they had a good morning of hunting wild pig...just another normal thing to see around Hawaii.
