My Parents trip to the Med

British Airway's newest jet called the "double" Airbus to Heathrow and then to Barcelona where we joined our ship the Celebrity Equinox. We flew over the Pyrenees mountains, we were surprised to see some of the peaks were snow capped. We toured Barcelona, a beautiful city, but the highlight was the uncompleted Barcelona Cathedral and its unusual architecture.
Palma De Mallorca and Valldemossa Spain
City of Cartagena, Senora De La Fuensanta, Cathedral of St. Mary, Casino, and the City Hall of Murcia Spain
Gibraltar, the tunnels, and the monkeys.
Portugal - Shrine of Fatima, Monastery of Santa Maria Da Vitoria, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of Portugal, and Walled City.
While walking the beach in Nazare, Portugal we happen upon Garrett McNamara and his son Liam. McNamara formerly of Hawaii moved to Nazare, Portugal recently with his wife and son. McNamara holds the world record for the largest wave ever surfed. He was also the first to surf tidal waves from caving glaciers. Nazare is noted for its huge waves.
 Lisbon, Portugal
Seville and Cadiz, Spain showing the Alcazar, Cathedral, and Casa De Pilatos
  Malaga and the Alhambra
