Day 2 Slovenia

The Town of Koper, Slovenia and the Postojnska Jama (Caves). During WWII in 1944 the Germans had been using the mouth of the  Postojnska Jama (Caves) for safe storage from allied bombing of gasoline. The Tito guerrilla fighters in 1944 managed to find an unguarded hidden entrance to the cave and sabotaged the gasoline causing a huge fire, the entrance to the cave is still blackened from that fire.
