Very cool 4th of July fact. Thomas Jefferson died July 4, 1826. John Adams died July 4, 1826 a few hours after Thomas Jefferson. Both were on the committee that wrote the Declaration of Independence. Both very different sharing an interesting history. Both remarkable men.
Erik took the kids to the Mission House Museum for the reading of the Declaration of Independence, some crafts, and homemade ice cream.
We went into base to watch the fireworks. It's our tradition and we haven't missed a year.
