Bible Study

Romans 5:8 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. In our disobedience God still loves us. The disobedient child is scolded but still loved. The more you set your affections on God, the more He is loosed to demonstrate agape love to you. Parents feel free to demonstrate all sorts of love toward obedient children with tender hearts toward them. If God demonstrated His love to you using the same measure of expression you demonstrate your love for Him, how would your life differ? God can go WAY beyond your way beyond.

We also learned about discernment. God doesn't want us to believe a lie. We have the power to know what we are supposed to know. When God comes, He comes in power and that power is in us. We need to love others with knowledge and insight.

And as Beth Moore says, "there ain't no high like the Most High."
