Amazing Devotional

Prayer:

"Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10

Prayer is the conduit that beings the direct, intervening, specific power and provision of God into the circumstances of earth. God's work is finished but finished work must come from the spiritual (heaven) realm to the material realm (earth). Prayer is how the will of God that is finished in heaven comes into the circumstances of earth. Prayer releases the power of God to accomplish the purposes of God.

Bitterness:

What is the cure for bitterness? "When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. So the people grumbled against Moses saying, 'What are we to drink?' Then Moses cried out to the Lord and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water and the water became sweet." Exodus 15:23-25

The wood-the cross is the cure for bitterness. Let your bitterness come into contact with the cross of Jesus. Moses threw the wood into the midst of the bitter water-let the cross of Jesus be the center of your circumstances. Let the power of His resurrection heal any bitterness. Be sweet flowing Living Waters.

The Armor of God:

"Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." Ephesians 6:11 Put on means to be enveloped in it. Every single piece of the armor is Jesus! I never knew this!

Truth: "I am the way and the truth and the life." John 14:6

Righteousness: "It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is our righteousness, holiness and redemption." 1 Corinthians 1:30

Gospel of Peace: "For He Himself is our peace." Ephesians 2:14

Faith: "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." Heb 12:2

Salvation: "He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him." Heb 5:9

Word of God: "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning." John 1:1-2
